Hi everyone.

I just got my IEC application approved and am planning to move to Toronto in august.
I'm currently doing an apprenticeship here in Switzerland as an application developer (programmer) and will be a fresh graduate when arriving in Canada.

Does anyone have any input on the difficulty of finding a job in Canada in my profession? Or how hard it is to find a survival job in Toronto.
How long does it usually take to find a job in Toronto, both survival and in your profession?
I'm planning to take around 5000USD as initial living money. How long would that last in Toronto? From what I've been able to assertain, I estimated 3 months. I don't mind living frugally initially.

Thanks for your responses,
John
