Legalization of police certificates

Does anyone have experience with legalization of (translations of) police certificates?

For my WHV application I have so far obtained police certificates of 2 of the 3 countries I've lived in for longer than 6 months. My Romanian police certificate is in Romanian and Dutch, so a certified translator translated it. The translator told me that I might need an apostille/legalization of this translation, which means that the translation is real and that the document is also valid in Canada.

I cannot find any information about legalization of (translations of) police certificates on the website of Immigration Canada. Doe anyone here know more about this?
